“Soul Searching” at Festiba 2011

As part of the UT Pan American Festival of International Books and Arts (FESTIBA) event, Kirk Clark exhibited selections from his Soul Searching Series on Monday, March 28, 2011.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, FESTIBA has evolved into a regional event that brings together the most outstanding scholars, authors, and educators in their disciplines to UTPA and the surrounding community, contributing their expertise and improving the capacity to teach and understand the arts and humanities by encouraging intellectual inquiry.  With the goal of promoting cultural awareness, UTPA celebrates the arts and humanities by engaging the community through books, poetry, drama, lectures, artistic exhibits, presentations in dance, theatre, film, musical concerts and more.

Kirk Clark was thrilled to have the opportunity to exhibit his latest work and celebrate the renaming of the University Gallery to the Charles and Dorothy Clark Gallery, in honor of Kirk Clark’s parents.
